What to prepare
One from each era.
Your two selections should contrast in character, tempo, and style.
I.
Classical or earlier
A work from the Classical period or before — Baroque or Classical repertoire that shows clarity, control, and stylistic understanding.
II.
Romantic or later
A contrasting work from the Romantic period or after — repertoire with room for colour, expression, and a developing personal voice.
Please note: For Grade 6 and above, no simplified arrangements or transcriptions are permitted.
