Peachtree Music Festival was founded to encourage young string players, foster an appreciation for the arts, and inspire great playing — motivating each student to develop a performance voice that is genuinely their own. We bring together students, teachers, and families around a shared belief: that performing for an attentive, encouraging audience is one of the most powerful ways to grow as a musician.
Whether through the adjudicated Competition or the welcoming Festival, every performer leaves with thoughtful feedback and the confidence that comes from sharing their music.

The Competition
- Five grade-based groups, from Grade 4 and below through Grade 12
- Two contrasting pieces, performed from memory
- Cash prizes for the Grand Prize and Concerto winners
- Open to string players everywhere, performed in person
The Festival
- Solo strings and chamber ensembles, performed live
- All levels welcome, from beginner to advanced
- Recognized with ratings of OP, AE, and HM
- Every performer receives written comments and a certificate
